“ Just stumbled upon this place in Boulder City. I ordered a shrimp (very large shrimp) salad which was amazing and I can’t wait to go back and try some more items. This is probably the only restaurant in the Las Vegas area where one can try regional beers and water imported from Galicia. I have visited Spain and Portugal but never experienced the Galician region so this was a real treat to find something so unique. Highly recommended! ”
“ Such a nice & intimate place to eat dinner. Very friendly/ good customer service & food was delightful. It was a group of us, and no one complained about anything! Definitely a Gem ”
“ My first time in the Las Vegas area was the last week of October, and I must say, there was little-to-nothing for me in Vegas proper. The noise, the pervasive smells, and the things that most people associate with Vegas were really not my scene. We decided to drive to Boulder City to explore the smaller-town feel of the outskirts of the Vegas area. This was on our last two days in the area, and I am so glad that we did! I had many meals prior to this one, and all were "good", but not great. When we drove through the small main street, we passed several small restaurants, but were drawn to this one. We walked in and asked if we had a reservation. I was unaware that was a requirement and told him no. Regardless, the owner made a place for us and sat us quickly. It was very apparent that this was a cut above the other restaurants we had been too (many of which were purported to be quality). Not pictured in this was our appetizer, which was an authentic Spanish Chorizo (which came thinly sliced in medallions like salami) and ciabatta bread. It was heavenly. It was then I knew I needed to start documenting the visit. To make this short, the Timbale de Verduras (the eggplant in house made marinara), the Mejillones Y Almejas A La Provincial (the mussels), and the Affogato De Eligio (the dessert coffee with liquor and ice cream) were an experience I will never forget. The owner (pictured with us) was hospitable and tolerated my terrible Spanish (I love speaking world languages and I am somewhat conversational in Spanish, but my training and experience is in Latino dialects, not Castellano). If I ever find myself in the Vegas area again, I will prioritize a dinner here. ”
“ Service was excellent, my cocktail was phenomenal & my food was amazing! Do not sleep on this cozy little spot. Everyone we came into contact with was lovely & the food was worth the wait! Trust their suggestions, enjoy the warm atmosphere & friendly staff... and of course, leave with a full belly and happy heart. ”
“ An excellent experience! I was visiting my brother and his wife and they took me to their favorite local restaurant for a Sunday lunch. The food was top notch Spanish tapas, prepared with care and precision, served with a flourish. There were good choices for diners from vegetarians to carnivores. The food compares well to dining in Spain; amazing empanadas. The owner was warm and convivial, with his passion for food and hospitality on constant display. This place, while modest in size and location, has a big heart. ”
“ Casa Don Quixote is a hidden gem that’s absolutely worth the trip from Vegas—or anywhere, really. The atmosphere is unique and cozy, and the service is exceptional. Eligio, the owner, treats you like a guest in his own home. He took the time to explain every dish in detail, sharing how things were prepared and where the ingredients were sourced. You can feel how much he cares about every last detail, every bite, and every second of your experience. And the food? Out of this world. Every course was memorable. Even though I don’t usually like octopus, I took a chance—and it ended up being the highlight of the meal. There’s also a great selection of wine and beer, along with perfectly crafted classic cocktails. I also enjoyed Eligio’s signature affogato for dessert (another highlight of the meal). Places like this are rare these days. The level of service, care, and craftsmanship at Casa Don Quixote is among the best I’ve ever encountered. Seriously, give it a try—you won’t regret it. ”
“ I had a great experience at this small business owned restaurant. The owners who are immigrants to the US, bring a variety of flavors with their tapas and Mediterranean selections of food and drinks. The staff is very welcoming, the cooks work hard to ensure a quality meal, the prices for food and drinks are reasonable and worth every penny! If you’re visiting Las Vegas, take the drive down to Boulder City, to try this restaurant, while also exploring the town outside of the strip. I look forward to my next trip to this restaurant when I come back to visit! ”
“ We are native from Las Vegas and we love food. This is the most amazing restaurant by far. The owner’s passion for his art is apparent in every detail. From the service, to the amazing atmosphere, to the exquisite cuisine. I have no words. This is a place that cannot be explained because it must be experienced. The pairing of the drinks. The appetizers. The main course. The dessert and dessert drinks. Every single bite and drink of everything was beyond expectation and actually delightfully surprising. 10 stars! Must visit. ”
